My first blog!

So... Here we are. I am actually starting a blog. I love reading other peoples blogs and although most people who have blogs have babies, I figured "our life is just as interesting without kids right?" Well, maybe not AS interesting, but I still think blogging would be good for my soul. And while we are gone in Europe for 20 days it will be nice to keep my poor mom informed on what is going on. :)

Lots has been going on here in the O'Neil household. Kevin has been working on our mess of a backyard, which with all this lovely rain has just gotten even messier. He is expecting 50,000 pounds of retaining wall blocks to be here tomorrow so that should provide loads of fun for the poor guy for quite some time. It will be a beautiful, flat, huge yard when he is finished, and our dogs can not wait!!!!

I have been sitting around trying to get through this nasty, horrible, spring break. In all this sitting I received an email asking for teachers to come interview for jobs on the Mariana Islands. Kevin and I kind of joked around about doing it for a day and then woke up the next day thinking... Let's actually do it! So I emailed them for an interview and we began researching the islands. They are absolutely beautiful and just what you think of when you think of a tropical paradise. We looked into renting houses, which by the way are crazy cheap, and what kind of jobs Kev could get while we were there. We got REALLY excited about this big move and are actually wanting to go and so, of course, now I can't get a response from anyone on the other side of the email address! I will keep trying and maybe even call this mystery number if we haven't heard anything in a few days, but cross your finger for us! This would be an amazing experience, even to just get a free trip to go interview!


Hopefully we will know something within a few days and I can put a new post about our trip there!!!
